Trailer Cross-Country Skiing Skate Online Course
The course is aimed at anyone who wants to learn or develop their skating and understand how to practice this important skill. The online course consists of 50 minutes of filmed instructions from a sunny Sjusjøen (Norway) divided into 11 instructional video lessons with associated extra material. The course is subtitled in six languages, including Swedish, Russian and Chinese.
– I have long wanted to work more with education in skating. It felt natural to create this online course together with Acadyme.com when I received the request. The online format is well suited for skate training and learning. It is important to see a difference in the details of the technique, especially the different gears that we work through from the ground up, says Erik Wickström.
Although Erik helps significantly more private individuals and companies with their classic technique, he has taught countless hours of skating.- There are mainly two areas where skiers need extra help. Partly to learn the difference between gear 2 and gear 4, and partly to be able to stand long enough on one leg in gear 3. We put a lot of focus on this in the course, says Erik.
Cross-Country Skiing Skate Online Course is subtitled in six different languages and a transcribed digital workbook is included if you want to download and read the content. You are also invited to a 20 minutes podcast interview with Erik where he talks about his love of skating.
– Erik is one of the best instructors I have worked with. He is pedagogical in his approach and it is easy to learn from him. It suited us perfectly to do the course with Erik because he really knows what he is talking about, says Jojje Borssén, founder of Acadyme AB.
Acadyme.com was founded by Jojje Borssén in 2020 with the goal of becoming the best in the world in online courses in sports, health and wellness. The company already has customers from 23 different countries after only eight months of operation.
