About your instructor Erik Wickström
Erik works as a lecturer, cross-country ski instructor, personal trainer, writer and photographer. He has also written the acclaimed books “Längdskidåkning för dig” (Cross Country Skiing for You, 2013) and “Smart konditionsträning” (Smart Endruance Training, 2016), and has contributed to a couple of other books on cross-country skiing. Erik’s track record includes a segment in the Engelbrektsloppet 2014 and a twenty-fifth place in the Vasaloppet the same year, and a twelfth place in the Lidingöloppet 2006.
In April 2016, Erik made 43.8 kilometers of skiing – which was longer than any other ski in a day – in Vålådalen on a course of 412 meters.
